Workout Summary for the Week of February 9, 2015
Monday – I woke up sick so nada, something was going on as both kids had stomach and sinus issues as well.
Tuesday – Felt better and got Insanity Max30 Cardio Challenge done! I maxed out at 19:40 modified and I ran a quick 4 miles at the gym later that night.
Wednesday – Insanity Max30 Tabata Power done! I maxed out at 10:44 modified.
Thursday – Unexpected Massage
Friday – Too sore to do a thing from the unexpected, unplanned massage.
Saturday – Ran 3.25 miles
Sunday – Caught up with Insanity Max30 Friday Night Fight, Round 1. I maxed out at 11:25. Stretching and a bit of PiYo later.
I stayed on track for the most part considering being sick on Monday and the surprise massage on Thursday night. I was talking about how sore I was and my husband was able to call and get me in for a wonderful hour and a half massage! It was a great massage, however she was really tough and worked everything out leaving me very sore through Saturday morning. I guess I really needed it and it is important to listen to our bodies when we need to rest and recover.
I put off my Friday Night Fight workout but got caught up on that as well as some stretching and Piyo to keep everything loose for the Glass Slipper Challenge next weekend.
I didn’t run as much as I wanted to this week, but that might be a good thing. I plan to get some running in during our trip prior to the Enchanted 10K next Saturday and the Princess Half Marathon next Sunday, so that should help out. Besides, the Princess Challenge is more about the experience and base building for me than a time goal! I just want to take it all in again and have fun!
